A substantial detached house in central

London has been replaced by two

25,000 square feet mansions. 

Keech Green have been briefed to

design the interior of both houses which

now descend two floors below ground to

provide garaging, swimming pool,

beauty salon, cinema, staff quarters and

kitchens.  The look here is contemporary,

with stone and slate providing a refreshing

contrast to the floors above.

 

The principle floors allow for entertaining

on a grand scale. However the

drawing room is divided into discrete

zones allowing for smaller meetings.

A library and study also provide more

intimate spaces.

 

A mix of silk and wool, blended

with marble and rich timber joinery,

create living spaces that combine

opulent grandeur with comfort

and warmth.
