Clients’ lives change and so do their

requirements for living.

 

Keech Green’s brief was to transform an

elegant bachelor apartment into a

practical family home.  Although little feet

would soon be pattering over the inlaid

marquetry flooring, our client did not

want to sacrifice the pervading

glamour of the original installation.

 

The other key requirement was

sound proofing, to keep the noise

and bustle of London at bay. 

Various materials and techniques were

used to this end, the most significant

being the fabric walling, in beautiful

wool pinstripes, camel, cashmere and

grey flannel.

 

With a very tight schedule, Keech Green

turned a one bedroom mansion flat into

a luxury family home with three bedrooms,

three bathrooms and a large kitchen.
